I’ve been a yoga teacher since 2015 and a yoga therapist since 2021. My love for yoga started the very first time I walked into a yoga class when I was 16, and it has grown into an incredible career. I became a yoga teacher because I know the immediate benefits of a calm nervous system and the profound shifts it can have in your life. I became a yoga therapist because I witnessed the gap of accessible and inclusive yoga spaces while working within the disability service sector and know that a therapeutic approach to yoga will allow you to try things you never thought you could. I opened Habitual Yoga Space in July 2022 to bridge this gap and offer a place for all people to practice yoga because I believe every body, even yours, can feel empowered through yoga! The best part of my job is meeting someone who’s never done yoga, but has been thinking about it for years, and we sit down and craft a plan for their journey ahead. When I’m not at the studio or traveling, you’ll usually find me walking near the river, sipping a flat white coffee, or at the lake with my family.
